Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero, Lance Mountain, Mike McGill, Tommy Guerrero and Rodney Mullen are easily some of the most influential, legendary, timeless names in skateboarding. Unlike all the young guns, prodigies, and constant up-and-comers that strut all over YouTube and Facebook everyday, these dudes were around before the wave of Social Media hit, and will far surpass it (if that's even possible).

The Dogtown and Z-Boys documentary that Stacy Peralta produced for the world to see still sits soundly on my list of all-time-favorite docs. The way it was edited and filmed was purely genius, and the way Peralta was able to portray this group of individuals was, to my knowledge, perfect.

Naturally, from one legendary crew usually sprouts another, and this cycle is seemingly endless throughout skateboarding. Peralta is at it again, this time highlighting the legendary Bones Brigade crew, skateboarding's first street pioneers.
