PERRY LAKES STICKER CLAP

Every skateboarder has a home and it's not always in relation with immediate family, but the family you create and meet through the lifestyle you live.

Skateboarding evolved from surfing. When the waves went flat the concrete jungle came to life. Where I grew up in the coastal 'burbs of West Oz,  i found this home. To an array of characters, all unique and all with passion to skate and display their own style, Perry Lakes has become this home. Not afraid to be themselves, the group that is now a family, gets hyped, skates and learns from one another in a way that can only inspire.

This park is our concrete wave, don't get me wrong, people like Coufos still hold down the flips, still throwing in the street influence, but this park makes one really look back and remember where skating came from.

The pictures that follow are from the SB sticker hand out at Perry Lakes skatepark. Everyone that came, familiar faces and new, walked away with a fresh batch of memories and Soggybones stickers for their car, decks and surfboards. Keep rolling and stay tuned...SB stickers coming to a home near you...unless we run out of petty money.
