R.I.P Ronnie
Metal legend, Ronnie James Dio, who famously replaced Ozzy Osbourne in Black Sabbath, has died at aged 67.
Dio is already greatly missed by millions of people around the globe, particularly his loyal fans, friends and family.
"My heart is broken, Ronnie passed away at 7:45am 16th May," a statement posted on Ronnies website by wife Wendio Dio said.
Many, many friends and family were able to say their private good-byes before he peacefully passed away.
Ronnie knew how much he was loved by all. We so appreciate the love and support that you have all given us.
Please know he loved you all and his music will live on forever," she added.
In a career stretching more than half a century, Dio steered the bands Elf, Rainbow and Heaven And Hell.
Tomorrow night, Soggybones 'Tuesday's Blazin' Beat', will return in memory of Ronnie James Dio.
