SHRED ALIVE (PRESENTED BY SHRED TAVERN AND SOGGYBONES)
That was a Halloween to remember. What a nuts night. The crew at Soggybones and Shred Tavern had a ball throwing SHRED ALIVE. We would like to thank a number of important people. Shit, where to start?
We couldn't have asked for a better crowd at this event, everyone went all out with their costumes and partied till the lights came on. Epic mixture of get ups, everyone put in a lot of effort, so cheers for that! It kinda sucked that we couldn't kick on 'till sunrise, but despite the curphew the Old Swan Barracks was a great venue for all of us spooks. Special thanks to the staff at the Old Swan for allowing us to get weird inside their walls.
Huge thanks to our event sponsors (Blah Skateboards, The Darkroom Concept, Rhythm, Momentum, GMTA Skateboards, Skull Candy and Brixton) who provided a stack of dope prizes.
Huge props to Luke Thompson and Luke Ward for organising the event and special thanks to Mr. Thompson for taking hundreds of photos of everyone in action. We'd also like to pay tribute to Dion Cochrane and Elizabeth Robertson for their help behind the scenes working the cameras and doing their part to ensure the night was remembered.
DJ Frankenstein loosened up the crowd and did a top job of bringing the beats to the dancefloor, big ups for that effort!
Lastly, cheers to everyone who bought a ticket and partied with us. Good looks and good vibes!
Until next Halloween, stay tuned for bigger and better events, they'll be coming soon!
Here are some of the photos from 'SHRED ALIVE'. All of the other photos taken on the night can be found on our facebook. Get tagging.
