San Fran's famed skate photographer Bryce Kanights is a dear veteran of the game. The man now lives smugly in Portland. It may have taken him roughly 20 years behind a camera, but he now truly understands the in's and outs, the hardword and dedication that comes with earning your place as a professional lensman.

Kanight's worked with many of skateboarding's top riders, he's earned his praise and dollars and in this clip he shares his insights, experiences and knowledge with those who will listen.

He takes us behind the scenes at Alcatraz where he shot his legendary Gonz photo and back across the bay to EMB and the first photo shot on Hubba Hideout.
