Taylor Smith is one of the raddest up-and-comers in skateboarding right now.

He's been seen on the Independent Trucks website killing Bishop Skate Park (Click To View Clip) in Oceanside, Ca, he's had a Rip Clip (Click To View Clip) on The Skateboard Mag. webpage that blew my mind along with every other person who witnessed it, he placed 9^th at the Phoenix Am this year just strictly cruising and he's still out filming and shooting photos consistently, baked as fuck. I saw a peak at the rest of his footage a while ago and it was really just a slap in the face, I'm scared to think of what's been going down lately. Dude, seriously... just watch out for this kid.

Just woke erps, kickin it at the crib! (Carlsbad, Ca)

Why is your nickname T-spliff?

(Laughs) Eugene (Kim) came up with this one a long ass time ago just from kickin it at the Carlsburnt (Carlsbad) Park before I smoked weed at all. I'd just make fun of them for being so baked then I guess when I started blazing it just stuck.

Favorite park in S.D. county?

Bishurpz (Bishop, Oceanside, Ca) or CBP. (Carlsbad Park).

Tell me about that spot your backsmithing in ghetto SD?

That spots stewps! (Laughs) just keeding. It's kind of butters, just a ledge going down this rugged driveway bank. We were just fucking around and I told Crisjon (Pirovano) I wanted a butter FB photo (laughs).

You've been on a mission lately! What's the occasion?

I've just been kicking it, trying to skate a bunch. (Laughs) I don't know if I'm on a mission, but I'm just trying to film more and shoot more photos. Just basically trying to keep shit going.

You going to school?

Naw, right now I'm just doing some independent studies shit, it's cool because I could cruise up and go skate San Diego, or L.A. on weekdays and shit. I don't know... I just kind of needed a break from school, it felt like I was trapped there... and all the kids don't make it any easier (laughs).

How old are you?

I just had my 16^th birthday in April. It was tight (laughs).

Who's hooking you up?

As far as hooking me erps goes, I'd pretty much just say the homies at Vans, Indy, Spitty (Spitfire), and now the homies at Foundation have been sending me boards lately... yee! Good looks to them.
