The bio Gibbo gave us basically consisted of his name and date of birth, which says it all about his character, direct and down to earth, no bullshit. I have to pencil some words here just to fill the five or six lines we put aside for him. I rang Gibbo a few years back when I was thinking of going down to Shippies and he responds with " yeah mate come down anytime, you can stay at my joint lad," no hesitations at all.
